Support Our Mission
Every day, families living with a Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy (DEE) face a diagnosis with more questions than answers. DEEP exists to close that gap, connecting families, clinicians, researchers, and advocacy groups so that progress moves faster, together. DEEP is also home to the Inchstone Project, our cross-cutting natural history and outcomes research initiative so a partnership with DEEP can mean supporting our family-facing programs, backing Inchstone's research, or both.
None of that happens without partners who share our urgency. We invite pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies developing therapies for developmental and epileptic encephalopathies to join us as a partner.

A Rare Vantage Point
DEEP is a trusted partner, independent, credible, and singularly focused on developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. Our network connects families, clinicians, researchers, and advocacy groups, giving sponsors a direct, credible line into the community they're working to serve.
A sponsorship dollar doesn't just fund one program, it strengthens the pipeline between the people living with a DEE, the physicians treating them, and the researchers developing what comes next.
What Your Partnership Funds
Sponsorships and partnerships have made possible:
A Four-Part Rescue Medication Series
Developed with support connected to UCB, this educational video series helped families and caregivers understand emergency seizure medications.
Inchstone Research, Published
Sponsor-supported Inchstone research has contributed to nine peer-reviewed publications on SCN8A and related conditions.
Celebrating Our Partners
Last year, DEEP honored longtime partners Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Lundbeck at a reception recognizing their support of the community.
EL-PFDD
In 2027, DEEP is hosting an Externally Led Patient Focused Drug Development Meeting on communication and cognition within DEEs. It’s not too late to support us in this massive endeavor!
How We Work with Industry
We build partnerships around specific, describable work, a research initiative, a program, a project, rather than open-ended funding. That means your support goes toward something real and defined, whether it's Inchstone research or a DEEP program.
Partner support does not influence our educational materials, clinical guidance, or the independence of our advocacy.

Ways to Give
We're glad to design a partnership around what works best for your organization, including:
Support a DEEP or Inchstone Initiative
Sponsorship of a specific initiative - a research study, a webinar series, an independent project - is a clear, defined way to make an impact.
Core Program Support
Help sustain the ongoing work that makes everything else possible - the Resource Center, family support programs, and the operational backbone of DEEP and Inchstone.
In-Kind Support
Support can take many forms - printing, translations, meeting space, staff time, and more. Every contribution makes an impact for the DEE community.
